Hi all, What is the best travel system out there? I have a relatively small car (Ford fiesta) and want it to fit in and out of the boot. I will be doing some in town walking, a little bit of 'woodland' type walking and some travelling in the car.
I live at the top of a hill so would ideally like something fairly light to push up the hill!

Any advice would be wonderful.
Also, I don't have isofix in my car so would I best bets just using a seatbelt or should I get an easyfix base. Will be swapping between my car and my husbands.

Thanks

Have a look at the Bugaboo Chameleon or the iCandy Peach Jogger. Both would fit your brief. If you need something smaller then a Baby Jogger City Mini or Elite is worth a look. But you need to check all the measurements out.
Personally I would buy a base for the car you use the most because after six months of doing seat belts up, you will wish you had got one! But don't bother on the car you don't use as much. Unless you use them equally in which case either get two bases or none!

Hiya, have a look at quinny which are compatible with maxi cosi car seats. These are the best car seats in my opinion and usually pretty easy to fit. There's a few of these travel systems here : www.pramsupermarket.com/travel-systems
Depending on how much woodland walking you have in mind you might want to choose one with larger tyres.

Ali, what's your budget? And when is your baby due? There are so many on the market that this will help narrow it down.

There are lots of travel systems out there but the are not necassarily the best option for long term use. Babies should be laid flat rather than in a seated position if being left for more than 2 hours because their spines are still developing, but they are fine if it's just for a quick dash somewhere.

Also make sure that the car seat supplied fits your car rather than you liking the pushchair, a car seat is useless if it does'nt fit your car properly.
