Joolz Day Vs Babystyle Oyster

I'm expecting my first baby in December and am a bit clueless! After A LOT of searching reviews/pushing various pushcairs aroung endless shops/trying to fit them into my ford fiesta, I've got it narrowed down to 2 - the babystyle oyster or the joolz day.

I think I prefer the joolz day but it's around £300 more and there aren't really many reviews of it since it stopped being the M & P Joolz (and from the pics, it looks like it's been altered slightly since then) so we're not sure what to do.

Has anybody got any experience with either and could offer some advice?

My sister has an Oyster and really likes it. It's not great at going down kerbs though. Did you fold it with the seat in parent facing mode? It can be quite awkward to fit in some spaces that way. I can't think of anything else that's not great about it. It is a really good all-rounder.

I really like the Joolz Day but I've never really tried it. I would guess that the big air filled back wheels would make it really nice to push. It only has 3 recline positions whereas the Oyster has 5. I like having lots of recline positions but it's not that big a deal. I think I'd want the Joolz personally-partly because you don't see them often but Oysters are becoming quite common-but I don't know if it's worth the extra £300.

It's really tricky - my heart says go for the joolz day but my head says to go for the oyster as it's been reviewed so well all over the place. Just wish there were some reviews for the joolz day.

We're going for the Joolz, ahead of Stokke Xplory and Cameleon... We've seen one and it looks good, felt solid, good reviews and the woman in the shop said it was superb. We like the height and the suspension, plus good extras.

There is a shop in Scotland doing it for £650 inc a free footmuff and changing bag at the moment too, plus delivery is cheap (£5).

Ooh, I'll have to look into that. What do you get for £650? Does it include the carrycot, carseat or adaptors? Our local shop has given us a price of £540 for chassi, pushchair seat and footmuff plus £130 for the carrycot. Plus they said they might do a discount if we get everything in one go

Liz... £650 for Pram, Carrycot and raincover. Then you also get the Changing Bag and Footmuff, they're retail at around £150 for the pair of them.

We're going to ask them about a deal including the car seat and adapters too.

Ive just purcased the oyster plush - just a little bit nicer than the original as it as the air filles tyers/chrome chassis and super soft padding plus comes with apron/cosytoes/bag etc.

I havent officially used it yet only round the house but cnt wait

The Joolz is fabulous. All round, moves like a dream and is solid as well. Something that you want of course when buying a pram in this price category.
I must say; it lives up to my expectations. Best thing by far is the height. For that reason alone you can't compare it to the Oyster I think.

I've got the silver - charcoal one and it looks fab!!

I love that big shopping bag...And it might fit on a Xari if i get one...In fact the Joolz looks very similar to the Xari...I've got an Oyster and it doesn't look at though it would compare to a Joolz.

I love my oyster. It does everything I want in a pushchair, but I do wish the seat was higher

Thanks for all the advice. Decided to take the plunge and go for the Joolz in the end. Hope we've made the right decision!
