Rather desperate now - please help!

BJCMicro a no go - pulled a muscle in my back turning DS2 round a corner in it - and even DH doesn't like it.

We have an urban detour which is fine for days out but hopeless for nursery/going away/getting on buses etc

We have a triumph which is hopeless as seat back only 18 inches, and comes up to the bottom of his ears which is really uncomfy for him, plus his feet drag along the floor and he weighs a ton in it.

So - need something lightweight, easy to fold and pref push one handed that has a high seat back and room for a grown up rucksack or bag in the basket.

Techno XT no good as as tall as Triumph - so I think it's between Techno xlr or Bugaboo Bee Plus (gulp - although has good resale and if I persuade DH to go for DC4 next year will be used again)

Anything else? Thanks, and sorry for going on - but I'm just desperate now

I don't know your budget but I have just bought a Babyhome Emotion Xtreet. I think it was £230. Just 5kgs, big easy to access basket, folds small, my 2.5 year old has tons of room in it. I haven't had chance to try it out yet but I bought it a) because it's gorgeous and b) someone I got chatting to about it has been using one for a year with her older child (I think he is 4). I ordered one from Spain and it arrived within a couple of days from Europakids. Worth a look anyway.

BTW the contact said she preferred the Xtreet to her Bee and promptly sold it.

Thanks - have looked and it does look good - but would you mind letting me know what you think once you have tried it - as I can just imagine DHs face when I tell him I'm getting one imported from Spain! Also, handle height is a bit of an issue as I'm 5ft 8 and he 6ft and both like tall handles

FRIGG I've had 2 superlites and 3 fastfolds but just cannot get on with the handles - or getting them on and off buses - the amount of times it's tipped over with DC in as I've forgetten to lock the front swivel wheels

Plus - his head is where the recline bar behind is so no good for dropping him back for naps (try as we might he is still firmly attached to his naps - his big bro was 3.5 before he gave them up - although they currently wake up at 4-45 each day

I will let you know but to be honest it may be a while until we actually use it. We have quite a collection and I bought it for when the baby comes out if his infant car seat, which will be within the next month or two, for nipping into the doctors or shops. Hubby is hmmm nearing six foot and he thought the handle height was fine around the house but I know that's not a good test!

I had the City Mini for my BIG 3 year old and it was fine, plenty of seat space, bigger wheels than the micro and lighter weight.

Other than that I don't know what to recommend.

I've answered your other thread, but my friend swears by her old "vintage" Pliko. They are a bit roomier than the newer ones but still a good fold. Her dd is 3 but wearing age 5 as she is very tall.

I could check seat height and handle height if you wanted?

Have you also looked at the BJ City Elite? I have a double here at present and am amazed at how low and how tall the handle goes and yet its not much bigger than the Mini - quite surprising really because it sounds huge in comparison. The storage & comfort levels is much better too.
