Big pushchair for big baby!

Am considering Baby Jogger City Elite, Mountain Buggy and Easywalker. The BJCE looks to have the comfiest looking seat. I need something that will tolerate mild off-roading.
Any views or other suggestions?

Those are all great options. Also the Nipper 360 and the BJ Summit.

Thanks. Any opinion regarding seat comfort? Are the MB and Easywalker just sort of a sling of material to sit on, or is there much padding for the bum and back?

I'd recommend the Jane Slalom Pro. Great for off-roading and up/down stairs, and a large seat area.

I wouldn't recommend the Jane Slalom Pro - I found the seat to open to the elements - and didn't give my child good posture like the Baby Joggers did - plus I thought it over-priced for what it was. The build quality, suitability for off road (hammock style seats) and ease of folding on the Baby Joggers is superior to the Jane.

Thanks for your opinions! Do you think it matters much if the seat isn't padded (I'm thinking MBs and the Easywalker)? I could put a sheepskin in. MBs and Easywalkers come up cheaper than the BJCE on Ebay and the like. Although I love the BJ fold. AAAAARRRGHHHH! Grin

I have the BJ summit - and I bought a v cheap £20 sheepskin from IKEA and cut strap holes in it (by laying it in the reclined seat - and gently "peeling" back from the top to strap height - marking carefully with a pencil the places to cut for straps to come through - including for the fold strap (which can be unscrewed underneath the frame at that triangle clip and pulled back through the seat for the purpose of fitting through a liner or babyjogger snugglebag). I then made the slits carefully using a seam ripper. Simples!

Everyone that sees my lad in his buggy is soooo jealous of his lovely comfy luxurious seat! (mostly grown-ups who wish they were being wheeled about in such a plush chariot!).

Ooh, Monkey, those Ikea sheepskins were the very thing I was thinking of!

All I need to decide now is whether to ignore the fab BJ fold and go for the cheaper options. [dithering emoticon]

I have an MB urban with a purpose-made fleece liner which makes it super comfy as it's nice and thick. Machine washable as well! As for off-roading, it handles very well - I would definitely recommend.

I had a landrover pushchair and it was excellent. It is still in the loft as I cant seem to part with it!
My ds still fitted comfortably in it at the age of 5, although I wasnt using it for him then. Very easy to use on sand, snow or in the shops, fantastic design.
It has a sling seat and tons of leg room.
You can get them on Ebay and I would highly recommend.
