Right...I have my funky, fun, fairly luxury well made but lightweight stroller...a micralite toro with rider board for the dd1, dd2 is in buggy and very comfy but i want to buy a second pram for walking/ baby sleeps in house after walk while in buggy etc....my need to collect dd from playgroup at lunchtime means some days post lunch naps in cot not available for dd2 so......what's the most comfy buggy seat you can suggest?? This is my top concern for this purchase, my frivolous fun colourful part has been met by the micralite toro, it's ace! Dd2 is very big so width of seat and prob length will be good but also mainly comfort, I like air tyres....size not a prob. Are mountain buggy seats very comfy? Nipper single? Mothercare extreme three wheeler thingy? Any better suggestions please?!

Baby jogger city elite is lovely for baby to sleep in. Plenty of room to get comfy. Large hood to darken, keeping bright sunshine out or wind and rain.
It's lovely to push and with rear seat storage and a basket beneath there's room for everything too.
Nipper is good to push but seat a bit small. Also nipper not easy to fold. Baby jogger has nicer fabric, better hood, more room for comfort. Babyjogger has raisable calf rest too.

Baby joggers pack really small when folded. Fab for holidays.
Baby joggers have a very slick one handed pull fold system and are super easy to pop open again.

We by looking at my DD yesterday i have to say my Brio Go...It's lovely to push, feels like my old proper Silver Cross pram but with the convience of swivel wheels...But it is large and very bulky and heavy folded, but so light to push...So great if it's only used locally out and about.

Second the Baby Jogger, I had the BJCM which was fine but if I had the option I would get something with an adjustable footrest.

They are so easy to fold and the hoods are great.

I had an Emmaljunga Cerox to start which IMO cannot be beaten for comfort as it was lovely and padded, reversible handle, zip off hood back so hood could be a sun shade for ventilation, mosquito net built in, adjustable seat and footrest and also the seat was pretty big.

I wish I had'nt sold it now :( but it was HUGE!

Interresting! Thanks for your info ladies. X babyjogger sounds good, am still curious about comfort factor on mb though? Any advice? Seen super reviews YouTube.

I have'nt owned an MB but they do get rave reviews everywhere aslonga s you get an older model.

The fold on the Baby Jogger sways it for me though as it is soo easy and more compact than the MB.

Also IIRC the MB does not have an adjustable leg rest which to me would be quite important for a child sleeping in it IMO.

i love my BJCM, but it is not a very comfy pushchair, the seat is too slumped and has no padding. Our old mamas and papas P3 was very comfortable for DC, loads of padding, great sun cover, straight seat, movable legrest, but was like a tank to push! you can buy them for under £50 from ebay

Yes indeed mb rave reviews, am sorely tempted but was wondering about the non adjustable leg rest situation! The mamas and papas 3wheeler has a huge seat, perfect but I'm less than keen on their free floating harnesses, dd2 needs strapping in to seat back or she will just sit up till sheer exhaustion makes her lie down! She will not take eyes off big sis! Still researching.....

Mummy I had the Mamas and Ppas 03 Sport and it was my favourite big pushchair. Seat was massive and the only one that sat up proper straight and we loved the floaqting harness.

Have you tried the floating harness before? It looks a bit odd but we never had an issue with it I found as long as it was adjusted at the back of DS so gthat it fitted round his shoulders correctly then it worked fine and meant that he did'nt feel restricted but was safe.

Has full recline, adjustable footrest, fab basket with zip top and big hood with sun visor. Would put a sheepskin on it if you will be using it for naps as they are soo comfy and the straps will go through it so won't fall about.

I could'nt fault mine and used it around shops etc the only reason I got rid was because DS started walking most of the time so it was pointless having something so big so we ended up with the BJCM which was not that padded but good enough although the Elite is more padded etc as it is a bigger model.

I love my nipper 360.

Big seat, light, nice to push and easy to fold and unfold.

I have a bjc micro which looks nice and is practical but is not a nice push IMO
