Any advice? Must be suitable for 8kg 10month old DS, and ideally have sunshade. We have iCandy apple at home, but I'm told it's probably not best to take on a plane...?
Please help!

Baby jogger city mini. One handed fold and lightweight, the hood is really deep on this too, so far it's my all time favourite lightweight. Or any easy peasy umbrella fold. We had a silver cross pop with DS1.

I work for an airline.

Something that you wont cry over when it gets trashed or lost! Ideally a one piece buggy too. I'd agree that an umbrella folding type is a good idea, maybe a Maclaren Quest.

Baby jogger city mini. Super hood to keep baby shaded. Lovely ball bearing wheels. Super quick easy fold. Robust. A pleasure to use makes life easy.

I loved my BJCM too. So easy to fold, lightweight and fantastic hood.

You are allowed to carry on the Quinny Zapp as hand luggage because it folds so small but it does not have recline or anything so I guess it's whatever is more important to you. The Petite Star Zia is similar though but with recline etc so you may be able to carry this on too.

I think that whilst I would rather the BJCM for comfort the fact that I can keep thee latter with me at all times would be a bonus just incase.

The smallest and lightest that you like. If it folds small, the more likely it is they'll fit it into the cabin. If they can't, they'll put it in the hold where it is more likely to be damaged, and depending on airport of arrival you might even have to retrieve from carousel.

Quinny Zapp with travel bag

Brand new £115 - this would be great as it includes shopping basket, raincover and travel bag so bargain!

What are peoples thoughts on Obaby atlas?
I liked the fully reclining seat and really big black out, plus at £50 if it does get destroyed I won't cry as much! Does anyone have one?

BJCM...great for hols as they sleep so easily due to the flat-ness!

I have seen an airline happily take on a Double Nipper 360 though...

Brave a lady at DS' nursery ahs had one for her son since he was a few months old (now 14 months) and it seems to be going strong with a lot of walking so it can't be that bad :)

Don't think you can carry it on though so I think you would have to check it in and go without at the airport either end.

This is the one she has, if you are going somewhere hot I would recommend this shade as I know this fits on and keeps LO protected from the harsh sun and some decent shade. :)
