Micralite + rider board + extra handles

Am aiming to get a cheapie rear facer off bay and use a buggy board for preschool run now dd1 stronger and weather better???...well, it's getting there isn't it! But.....have seen micralite with a micralite brand board and extra handles to reach buggy when using board, it looks super tucked up out way when not in use and I like idea same company made both items so one would hope they don't compromise each other, am keen to get rid double buggy now but dd1 still needs a back up! Like the toro as I've had a fast fold and although dd2 is huge 8 month old crawling etc I missed foot and calf support when had a fast fold for dd1.... What's seat size like on toro? I had to sell my quinny buzz as dd2 looked cramped at 5months. Any info from users of the toro plus the micralite board please or even the fast fold with the board and the special handles of course!

Still looking for info re above from mums netters who may even have used the combo I'm after...... Went to look at toro and a fast fold side by side in my local pram shop, would buy online as seen cheaper deals but nice to try both out together.... I love fast fold still, was good for dd1 but......prefer the calf support on the toro, the build quality seemed sturdy, more so even than silver cross and macs strollers next to it, love the tyres, need the air tyres for my walking and footpaths/kerbs etc but......the seat didn't seem that big! My dd2 looked so comfy in it however and sat up lovely, loved the bumper bar, right height to chew or actually reach attached toys, hood that actually would block sun.....but seat seemed smallish, suppose not that diff to Mac xt width or depth but shape of stroller seat makes it look smaller, certainly plenty height room.....any advice please?! Am soooooo tempted would look funky with the rider board on also. All matching ifyswim? Am a bit fusspot about my buggies! Also think the extending handles will mean I can actually walk with buggy board on without bending my already knackered back!.......also......I will stop in a mo!!! Seen lovely lift baby carrier on offer in boots this morn......off to slings and carriers thread with that question! Finally do you think toro seat really will be too small by time got a foot muff on? Would probes get a thinner buggysnuggle as vie just got a thick one now.

Micralites are lovely. Well made and good to use. I had fastfold plus rider board and extendable handles. Worked well but made fastfold back heavy when clipped up out the way. Might be better with the toro.

Hi
I've had the micralite combo with buggyboard and extended handles for 18 months now. was doing great and was doing the job but then....
I think it maybe just my luck and not a problem per say, but had problems with left rear wheel deflating. Had an inner tube fitted at local bike shop (de vere's), then 3 weeks later, to my dismay the tyre deflated again. Called Micralite who couldn't give me any reason how this could happen, and said it can't be the tyre. They then told me to go back to the bike shop to see what they say. The bike shop said I would have to pay for another inner tube, and (as I was standing with the tyre in my hand), extracted a tiny slither of glass from the tyre. Hubby checked for where punctures were, and discovered some on the tyre. Am going to call Micralite up today, but scared they are going to turn around and say no can do, and I'll have to buy another buggy (not micralite needless to say), but here is hoping.

We have the toro + board+ handles. It is good, really manoeuvrable.
I had a fastfold but changed to toro because of the recline and much much prefer it.
DS is 4 and on holiday he slept in it sometimes. His legs were a bit folded up but obviously comfy enough to sleep!

Mary, what are you expecting micralite to do? You had a puncture, buy another tyre ffs.
You wouldn't buy another car if you had a puncture, why do you need a new pram?

l called Micralite, happy to buy a new tyre, £27.40 (cost of one weeks travel to work in London), just have be careful and remove any glass that happens to come in contact with the tyre.
Happy Bunny
