Silver cross sleepover harness

hi
Has anyone got any advice please? We bought a lovely sleepover second hand and I am not sure whether or not I should be using a harness when it is in the lie flat/ pram mode with a young baby. The liner has cutouts at the side only that look like something should thread through but I can't figure out how I would get the whole harness through. DH thinks I worry too much and that it doesn't need a harness but I'm not so sure. Any advice appreciated.

In the pram mode, you don't need the harness. Just spread it flat as poss then stick the matress on top.

You thread it through the holes in the footmuff when you change it into pushchair mode.

and i sgree, i found it confusing!

Hi nicky

Have you used it much as a Pushchair? We still have the foot plate completely up but the back almost fully up as dd seems comfy like that and initially it looks huge as a Pushchair!

YEah, loads. Both dses have loved it as a pushchair from about 4 mths to aged 2 yrs. Well, ds2 is still only 9 mths, but you get my drift! Really love it tbh.

I think you are supposed to use it with D'rings or something (toddler reins would do) as then these just strap in over shoulders.

Not sure how enclosed this is as have only seen a linear freeway but I have heard of babies falling out of carrycots before when the pushchair has hit a big bump or something..

The sleepover carrycot is much deeper than the freeway, the baby wont fall out, you don't need to strap them in when its in carrycot mode ;)

I loooovvvvvve my sleepover delux, bought it new a year and a half ago, just so gutted mine gets used as a downstairs moses basket because I had dd2 and ds1 10 months apart and had to get a double. I am looking forward to dd2 walking or buggy boarding so I can use it again. Absolutely awesome pram :)

Cheers all for the the helpful advice. I thought I may have been over thinking/worrying so nice to hear from mums who have used the pram. Baby due tomorrow so looking forward to actually using it now :)
