The subject says it all.
I've got a mini and like my car too much to change for the baby. The problem is the boot space. Sad I've been doing my search for the perfect pushchairs yet realised there are not many that fits in the car without one of the seat down.

I am trying to find one that can fit without folding backseat down. Am i too ambitious?

Is there anyone who has mini and found a perfect pushchair for it? What is your experience? What would you recommend?
Ooooh! so many questions.

Looking forward to hearing from you all.

One of my friends had a mini. She had a Quinny zapp, with a Maxi Cosi car seat which could fit on it for when the baby was little. The buggy itself doesn't recline, so it only suitable for 6 months+. And current advice does recommend not too long in car seats and for babies to lie flat, which they don't with this arrangement...

My friend did use a (proper one-you-tie-yourself) sling too, maybe something like that's an option too?

This was all a few years ago now, I'm sure someone will come up with another suggestion.

OOh, now I've had a look, there's a quinny zapp xtra, which is much more fancy-pants (reclines and can be parent-facing) but which also folds up small. Folded it is 29x95x42cm. Would that still fit?

Quinny now do a zapp extra? Folds as small, rear facing, can be used from birth.
This will go in your boot and ticks all the boxes.

Zapp Xtra Folded dimensions: 95 x 42 x 29 cm

Zapp Folded dimensions 70 x 25 x 29cm

I have a similar situation with a Hyundai I10. I can only fit 85cm across the boot so the zapp xtra wont fit. I got a second hand zapp and have a maxi cosi car seat for the first 6 months.

The introduction of the Zapp xtra has pushed the price down on the zapp. Lots on ebay completed listings from about £30.

Maybe go and try one out? Maybe if you removed your parcel shelf and manouvered the buggy about a bit?

Or it may sit on your back seat or passenger footwell with the seat right back in the mini?

Combi make pushchairs that fold small and are very light but not sure if suitable from birth though.

Bugaboo Bee+ (2010 version) or Petite Star Zia4. Quinny Zapp Xtra (reclines, seat rear faces now etc) is a good option still

Mamas and Papas Nuna apparently does, 'even fits in a Mini' is part of the description of it on the website.
V stylish buggy, money off at the mo too.

A seed pli is a luxury stroller that folds up really small. There are some on ebay for really great deals just now. Mothercare sell it for around £800!

Try a baby jogger city mini.

Please don't be tempted to put it in footwell/back seat/remove parcel shelf otherwise it will become a lethal weapon in an accident
