Buggysnuggles and the like

Does anyone use buggysnuggles? Am looking for fleecy, brightly coloured footmuff type things, but want kinda padded thick cosy ones rather than just a thin fleecy layer if that makes sense?

Are buggysnuggles thick and cosy? Can anyone link me to any other sites with funky/interesting fleecy footmuffs?

TIA!

Hello! I've had buggsnuggles, gorgeous, their thirty five pound price bracket ones are fleecy and cosy and warm enough....for a younger baby I had a snowsuit as well, their 55 pound price ones are thicker and prob therefore warmer and they do feel a lot heavier and more luxurious....but just got new foot muff from John Lewis, their kind of version of buggysnuggle but only twenty five quid, lovely thick and lovely warm, nice red with stars on but they do a few other prints butnobviously not as many as bug snuggle.

Oooo, also the j Lewis one is ace but maybe a shade shorter than bug snug but still has plenty room for my very big 6month old, won't need new one till maybe in a stroller when 20'onths or walking etc

Pupabag do similar but are a bit cheaper than buggysnuggle - they also do fake fur ones. Buggysnuggle and pupabag are both more like a fleece blanket than a traditional footmuff, which I suppose is more like a sleeping bag. DD had one and it kept her nice and warm, and draped nicely round her legs.

Another recommendation for the John Lewis one here. Had mine a year now, ds is two, lovely and cosy, still fits and washes up lovely.
Bargain at £25

i bought a £55 buggysnuggle and i love it,although a few weeks later the exact same one was being sold on ebay brand new for £25

i would have a look on there,
pupabag do nice fabrics too,bu i cant comment on quality as i haven't had one.

clair de lune do lovely similar ones too for about £15 if you can find a stockist near you x

go for the more expensive buggysnugles they are thicker and nicer material.

I got one of the expensive buggysnuggle ones, but for almost half price on website sale. (meant I had to settle for a black one rather than brightly coloured/funky pattern as I was originally looking for, but for half price, I couldn't complain!)
We absolutely love it! It's on it's second winter, has been washed several times, and still looks like new, and still with plenty of space! DD is 18 months and still very roomy, and toasty warm. Can't fault it.

I have an 8yr old buggy snuggle that is in as new condition!

I bought it for ds, then my Godson used it and now I use it for CMing. I've been looking for a 2nd hand one on ebay to match and they still sell for quite a lot even 2nd hand.

I'd definitely recommend the more expensive ones (though haven't used their cheaper ones).

ive had lots,theyre lovely.
the wolf ones are very thick and super warm
(look on ebay for cheap ones!)

mum2GKH · 19/01/2011 06:36

Another vote for the thicker one, just bought the apples one on eBay, brand new for £32 instead of £55

also for a different style of thick cosytoes www.pushchairs.co.uk have an Alvi snuggle bag that is fantastic. It also unzips at the foot end to allow longer legs growing room.
