i bought one when my baby was about 6/7 months.
i wish i'd bought it when he was born, its quite heavy to lift in/out of car but thats because it folds in one piece, you can take the seat unit off first if its too heavy for you,but that kinda defeats the point of a one piece fold!
its SO light and lovely to push though, even one handed (i have a toddler too)
it has adjustable suspension one setting for a smoother ride for babies and a second detting for slightly harder suspension for older babies (6m+)
i got rid of mine when my lo was 15months as i didnt feel he was as comfy in it,and i bought a mac xt.
i have a bad back(and i love buggies lol) and that was part of the reason i got rid of it,i needed something smaller/lighter for holidays so got the xt to do everything.

I had it from dd being born up till approx 12 months.

It is heavy but a lovely pram to push.
I had one with rvesible seat covers choco/cream and i washed mine and they were fine.

Carrycot lasted approx 5 months comfortably.

I love the rear facng option, and the zip on raincover and also the special clips for the loola change bag to Smile

I have one. I love it. DS is 2.3 and I have an umbrella fold buggy too, but recently started using the Loola again more as the umbrella fold is so heavy to push with him in now. The Loola is so much better - and yes good one handed, which is great when he wants to walk. I got cramp in one hand trying to keep the umbrella fold buggy straight the other day when he wanted to walk. It is really light and easy to push and steer, but very heavy to carry, that's the only issue. However if you are using carrycot/carseat with it you have to take that off to fold, and the frame itself is fairly light.

I never bought the carrycot. I just laid the seat flat and padded DS out with blankets and he was just fine from newborn, he seemed really cosy in it actually. I like the way it's higher up than a lot of other lie-flat buggies. It has two modes of suspension and the newborn one seems pretty bouncy to me (good).

The seat covers I found wash really well. The colours have never run (I have the brown/cream one as well) and it dried in about an hour lain flat on an airer, so possible to wash overnight and not be without a buggy.
