Neither Grin

I tried both and then decided I much much preferred the Britax Vigour+, I bought that off ebay new for £40 and its my favourite pram ever. My friend has a brand new Cam, and moans that she wishes she had my vigour.

Sorry....that was no help to your confusion at all Grin

clumsymumluckybaby · 06/01/2011 15:50

ive had a vigour...loved it Grin

but i have a britax b-dual atm,and i want something nippy, rear and forward facing, and cheaper than the beloved bee i just sold to help towards the b-dual...

Ooooh b-smart is on offer at boots at the moment for £150.00, take into account topcash back and boots points thats not much more than a second hand bugaboo.

Whats your budget clumsy?

clumsymumluckybaby · 06/01/2011 16:03

ive got a b-dual,just bought from boots saleGrin

my freind bought the b-smart at the same time,it and the vigour are too bulky for what i want...

i basicaly want a small light stroller,faces you,seat suitable for dd (2.6) AND ds (4months) to share.buget around £100 can go a bit over...seen a gecko for £175Hmm

i've got a gecko, i think it's fab. copes well with rough ground / snow, nice and comfy for ds. loads of accessories available if that's your thing.

not sure about the differences between that and the frog, think it's neither here nor there

although saying that the one thing the gecko doesn't have is an adjustable handle, frog might

Honeydragon · 06/01/2011 16:10

gecko and frog are not light at all, I found the vigour easier than the frog

Honeydragon · 06/01/2011 16:13

For what you want I had a streety for in the car / bus trips as that folds tiny and lies flat.

However most mnetters have a love or hate relationship with them as you have to use the foot plate on kerbs rather than handle bars...which personally I got used to quickly and quite liked.

clumsymumluckybaby · 06/01/2011 16:15

hmmmmm....

pura is it a slim width? get around little shops okay?
hows the seat size?Grin

honey i loved my vigour but i had to sell it as dd didnt fit comfortably in the seat any more...she fit in the (smaller) bee seat though, weird eh?!

clumsymumluckybaby · 06/01/2011 16:15

ooh,never heard of that one...

I've had a Gecko, was quite nippy, Frogs are slightly larger and have a bumper bar. If you're wanting a bigger child to use it I'd saygo for the frog.

Don't get a streety, nasty things.

Hauck Infinities are pretty good Rf prams, you can get them cheap as chips as well.

Honeydragon · 06/01/2011 16:21

Told you about the streety Grin

gets round our narrow, cramped, country shops with no problems. it seems very small and compact compared to friends icandys, phil and teds and mountain buggies. i don't think it's heavy but then i don't have anything much to compare it to, it handles beautifully and you can push it with one finger.

sizewise DS is 18 months and a biggie, he's fine in it, lots of room. in fact i have the footmuff and a thick sheepskin inside that and still room for him.

the only thing i don't like is that the hood obscures his view when fully down and it's in the sitting position, but we rarely use the hood and if it's raining i slip the fabric off and use just the frame to support the raincover and it's like he's in a bubble

clumsymumluckybaby · 06/01/2011 17:30

thankyou!Grin
