Buggy board

I've got a two and a half year old and a 16 week old baby. I'm looking for a buggy board to fit a Mamas & Papas Pilko pramette, and also need one which comes out far enough for my 2 year old to stand on while the baby is lying flat in the pram. Any suggestions? I've tried the Mothercare 'hop on' board. Not only was it a nightmare to assemble, as soon as my older son go on the board, the connector came off!!

I need the exact same thing! Thanks for the warning about mothercare.

only problem is,that if it sticks out enough for him to stand on it in pram mode you will have to stoop over to reach the handles,ok for short trips, but not ideal, my friend had a lascal 3g (maxi) board on hers

I have the lascal maxi board - it is good - but to be honest I find all buggy boards are a pain - as you end up stooping over to reach them (unless your buggy handle extends really far).

thanks everyone for your suggestions/input. LadyintheRadiator followed your advice and got the Lascal maxi board. Ds really loves going on it plus it was very easy to assemble without any need for tools. With the buggy in pram mode i do have to stoop a bit but i know it'll get better as baby grows and can sit up more. The other thing i learnt while researching the 'buggy board vs double buggy' question is that apart from being very expensive if bought new, most double buggies can take a maximum weight of 15kg- ds weighs 15.44kgs at 2y8m- so that wouldn't have been much use. Phil and teds double can take up to 20kgs, but the high price put me off!

think baby jogger do a city classic air tyre buggy that will take more than 15kg a seat. It was on ebay new for around £250
