Phil&Teds seem to be very popular, if you fancy that configuration.
I really want the rear-facing option (have it with DC1 and we both love it - he's 19months). Plus, I personally don't like the idea of a P&T (rear child's feed in the basket, can't see much, have to have your hands stretched out as there's not enough room under the handle for your legs, and it's not RF). Hence, my choice: Baby Jogger City Select.

we found the Nipper 360 brilliant for our 2 girls, as far as doubles go it's pretty light and manouverable. I had phil & ted but couldn't get the rain cover on when set up for toddler and newborn as DD1 was too tall

I think the first thing to decide is whether you want side by side or in front/behind type.
I wanted side by side but couldn't find one that would fit through my back door, had wanted the Baby Jogger City Select but ended up with P&T Sport.
The P&T is far from perfect, though having test 'driven' all the doubles that my friends had before buying ours I realised that none of the doubles are perfect. That being said, I'm now very glad I bought the P&T, I often find myself squeezing through somewhere thinking I'd never get through here in a side by side, especially around the shops at the moment with all the extra Christmas product stands around everywhere.

Baby jogger city mini or city classic Double?
Baby Jogger City Mini has roomy enough seats ffor a large toddler yet is narrow enough for most doorways. Neither passenger is at floor level (like the back seat in P&T), and both can interact and have a good view.
The instant fold mechanism on the baby jogger brand cannot be beaten - it's utterly genius and completely fabulous. It's also just as easy to pop the buggy up again.

Just saw this thread. I have the Baby Jogger City Select & it is fab. BUT it's a bit of a nightmare on the bus - when loaded with 2 kids you can't "bump" it up to get on the bus IYKWIM. You have to take the toddler out of the second seat & even then with an empty second seat it feels a bit long to manoeuvre through the bus.
Mind you, I can't imagine being able to get any double stroller on the bus without taking one kid out.
Feel free to me know if you have any questions about the City Select.

i have a phil and teds as my son was 2.5 when dd was born. Had no problems with raincover or handle space (and i am 5'9). Found it easy to manouver and quite light. Would recomment it.

i have just got a teutonia team cosmo. haven't used it yet but it looks good and if it's half as good as the single i'll be impressed! would be great for walking but don't think it would fit on a bus, it is a tank. is rf and i've bought a carrycot too for new baby, so should be cosy enough in this weather for walking.
:)
