Should DS be lying flat in a pram until 6 months?! Plus a question about Sola or B-Smart

Just looking at the icandy apple online and it says the seat unit is suitable from 6 months. Does that mean they are supposed to be in a carrycot until they are 6 months old? My DS is 16 weeks and hates lying flat in the pram now, unless he is asleep. He likes to sit up and look out at what is going on!

I'm considering the M&P Sola or the Britax B-Smart 4 as I can have him facing me, but I was expecting to have him sitting up rather than lying flat. Similar price, but the Britax has a bigger shopping basket and the wheels look a bit more rugged. If you could tell me which one I should buy I would be incredibly grateful! Grin

Thank you Smile

I thought they could be more upright from 3 months, hence prams/buggies that don't got totally flat saying they're suitable from 3 months. But then I know nothing of buggies....

My DD went into the Bugaboo Frog seat at 2 months...She hated lying flat from that age...She was born nosey, like me!!! DD was very rigid from a few weeks so sat at 17 weeks by herself...Years ago most buggies had bucket seats and were used from birth...Silver Cross provided a cushion to make the seat flatter though in the Wayfarer.

Dd was in a Maclaren Quest from 3 months, but it did lie totally flat (or as close as), so she was stuck like that until 6 months, no matter how hard she strained at the harness! The outward facing stimulation helped her forget she was lying down though.
