Help - urgent - best pushchair for bad back/shoulder

My neck and shoulder are in spasm and I'm finding pushing my micralite really hard cos of the way you hold the handles - I need something that if anything pushes the shoulders/hands in not out.

Any suggestions? Got an obaby sport but too heavy to push

It's for a big 22 month old that doesn't really need much of a recline - and needs to be either very cheap or available easily second hand :o

Thank you

Hmmm....was coming on here to recommend a superlite but will have to think again. I presume you've played around with the handles to see if there is any angle that is less painful for you. I often push mine by just holding the middle while holding toddler's hand. Hope you find something.

i find it easier with something that has a single handle rather than 2 separate ones

how about a mountain buggy swift? or a baby jogger city mini/micro?

MB or nipper

One handle and three wheels would be the way to go - I could easily push/steer mine with one hand.

Bee Plus...Can have handle extremely low or very high...Can be pushed very easily as it's very light...Literally 1 finger if needed.

Than you - i only recently got rid of my mb so back to ebay it is - although the one handed suggestion for the micralite is good - that's helped too

was coming on here to say micralite, i suffer with shoulder pain too and couldn't push something like a mac any longer. either micralite or nipper as they are so light to push.

baby jogger city mini! i've had 6 or 7 prams and this is the one for me.

i have rheumatoid arthritis and the pram's a bloody lifesaver. one handed push. very easy fold and light. all the fiddly bits are easy.

cannot recommend enough. get the mini then you don't every have to fuss with tensioning pram covers, the hood does the work for you, with a pair of wellies on the feet, you're done.

ps sorry, hope you get better soon. i also recommend tramadol and cocodamol, though not sure if even JL sell them:)

I've found the bugaboo bee+ the best thing when my back is playing up. I found the maclaren techno made my back much worse - something about the handle height and the angle of the handles (or maybe that they're 2 seperate handles?!) just did not suit me.
Bee+ has great suspension, is easily manouverable and light to push - so I find it great and gentle on my back.
