Suspension on Mountain Buggy?

Morning all,

Can anyone tell me if the older MB Urban has rear suspension or does it rely on just the seat & tyres?

And if it's just seat & tyres, does it really do a good enough job on very rough ground? I currently have a Mothercare Urban Detour and poor DS gets bumped about all over the place on most of our walks so I'm looking for something a lot smoother!

thanks :)

i have had an urban elite with suspension on and a normal urban without and to be honest there wasnt a difference. they are very smooth, i use mine all the time on really rough ground and its the smoothest buggy i have had and i have had over 50 different types. not sure about the 2010 models though the older versions 2009 and the older elites had rear suspension

thanks mel, it was an older Urban I was looking at, then saw an advert for an Elite so wasn't sure which to go for.

Have heard so many bad things about the new 2010 model, so will steer clear of that!

I had an elite for ds and did find it nicer to push than an urban when he was older. Bought an 09 model for new baby and the suspension isn't as noticeable but still think worth having (Only given it a quick test ride with ds 1 as baby not here yet!) But also loved the normal Urban! I wouldn;t have a 2010 tho either - Pramworld had some bargain 2008 and 2009 ones a couple of months ago not sure if still doing them.
