It pushes lovely.

It's a bit heavy, yes, but then I'm sure you'll have that problem with all doubles. The city select has a solid bar at the bottom though making it easier to get up kurbs because you can put your foot on it to use as leaverage as you pull down on the handles. (this is simpler than it sounds)

I have a big nearly 17 month old who still has plenty of room left in the seat. The hood has 2 height positions and footrest extends.

The carrycot for newborn is lovely, Big hood, good mattress and apron.

Baby is on his way, although he's been on his way since bloody thursday so wish he'd hurry up, so I can let you know what it's like with a toddler and newborn in it soon hopefully.

I'm not sure where you are but we only had mothercare and toys r us in our town which didn't sell it but just in time a little independant pram shop opened which I found completely by accident who had it on show.

I think some John Lewis' have it in though depending on where you live.

Fiolondon.

I find the handling on the city select really good, yes there is a knack to getting it up and down kurbs but it's so easy for me now I've done it a few times and I'm 5ft 3" so by no means tall.

I've heard the jane powertwin is a nightmare for kurbs due to the one front wheel, especially with a heavy toddler in the front.

Not sure about the others you mention sorry.

I'm a CM and have had a variety of double buggies over the years!! I've had 2 Powertwins and wouldn't get another. They have more space leg-room for the child in the back seat but I'd say that was the only plus point for me over the P&T (of which I've also had 2 Blush!!).

I love air-filled tyres - they make the buggy much lighter to push.

I currently have a P&T for bus travel or if I know I'll need to get through any tight gaps or if I only need a single buggy. I also have a MB urban double which is for any other walks with 2 children.

I like the look of the Select but the price puts me off. I'm going to John Lewis on Friday, I might just have a little peek at one then!!!!
