had the same problem...check if there is any dirt in the wheel attachment and try greasing the part that attaches to the chasis

it worked for us and we loooove our brio go :)

Does a Brio Go work in snowy conditions???

veki · 06/01/2011 10:41

Yes, it rides easily on snow. It's our second winter and we've never had any problems...and we do get a lot of snow where I live :)

How upright is the seat???My DD likes fully upright like the Frog which is 90 degrees...Plus does the bumper bar have just 1 position??? Not that that's a great decider as from the video i've seen it does fold down...And how adjustable is the handle??? I'm 5'2" and prefer my handles low down...Does it free stand when folded??? That's my big bug bare with Bugaboos, so ungainly when folded??? Is it a dream to push??? Sorry for so many questions!!!

Hi Suzie38.

The seat is not bolt upright, but is set at an incline.

The Bumper Bar can be up or down, but does not have multiple positions.

The handle, however, is very adjustable and you should be able to find a comfortable position.

I'm not sure what you mean by "free stand", unless you mean stand on its own? The Brio Go folds flat on the horizontal axis rather than vertical (not like a Maclaren, for example) and stands on its own. It takes up a lot of floor area, but not much height, if that makes any sense? Although, once folded, I guess you could prop it up, if you wished. You can also take the wheels off and store them in the body of the pushchair, so it takes up less room (useful for getting into the car boot, etc).

I find it lovely to push. Maybe not quite as dreamy as a Bugaboo, but nearly.

My only cautions would be to check you are happy with the harness (my bugbear with the Brio Go). Also, I have found, since I bought mine about a year ago, that the accessories are very difficult to get hold of. I can't find the toddler board anywhere and there is a very limited choice and availability of Brio foot muffs. Makes me wonder whether it will be withdrawn from the UK market, but who knows?

Thanks Yarnie for replying...I went ahead and bought the Go i'd seen on eBay...Not taken it out for a ride yet but DD has sat in it and seemed happy enough...The harness does look fiddly but won't be an issue as i don't bother with harnesses if there's a bumper bar though do in Frog/Cam as seat is very high up...Plus i'll just use my reins i used in the big pram if needed...If i take the crotch strap down then my Bugaboo Cam footmuff fits fine plus i have another custom footmuff that matches perfectly and will fit better with the velcro part of the hood...Mind you Snunkie do liners and footmuffs for Go's so hopefully custom made for the harness and bumper bar strap...I've left it propped against a wall...It is a beast of a size though!!! Mind you compared against my Bee Plus with handle up full there's no difference in length, just width...Basket looks great for shopping...And a plus it came with the carrycot which DD loved, so it's like have a Silver Cross pram again but with swivel wheels...Though technically she's a little too heavy for it.

Hello,

Do you know where I can get a Brio go?

Thanks!

Hotapplepie · 11/09/2012 02:07

I'm guessing from Sweden now! They seem to have stopped selling the Brio Go and their accessories in the UK not long after I bought mine. But every time I had a problem like the wheels locking or the back seat reclining clip coming off, they would just post to you from Sweden and replace the parts for free even now and I bought mine in 2009!!

I absolutely love my Brio Go, I even took it to Florida from UK it being so stable and I can pop everything I carry in the huge tray! My husband carries a lot of camera equipment too and that also fits in the tray it being so heavy we didn't need to carry anything on our shoulders at all! Also bought 2 buggy clips and we hang the shopping on too it's brilliant! Might be pretty bulky when storing in the car, you need a huge boot if you can't be bothered taking off the wheels though!
