Small light buggy? Plus a question on iCandy Cherry

When DD1 was born we had a Micralite Fastfold.
It was great with the carry cot, but we didn't use it much as a pushchair because the angle of the seat is rubbish (too laid back for sitting, too upright for sleeping).

So we bought a Silver Cross Pop. That was great for a while - adjustable seat, lightweight. But after about 9 months the wheels started to seize up, making steering quite hard work. WD40 etc didn't help.

So I got a Chicco CT buggy. This was great until the front wheel snapped off and the (internet) company I got it from wasn't interested in replacing it.

Then DD2 came along and I got a P&T Sport. This has been great for the two of them but now that DD1 is growing out of needing a buggy it's a bit big and heavy, and the recline on the seat is hard to adjust.

Now I need another buggy! Something with easily adjustable seat angle, light and small(ish) for using public transport, which I do alot, and that will take a buggy board without me having to hunch over too much when pushing. Friends have suggested a Maclaren, and an iCandy Cherry. I like the latter, especially having the seat face me or forwards, but not sure it will take a board, given the handle height?

Any thoughts? Thanks if youv'e got this far!

I have the iCandy Cherry, although I haven't used it yet as my baby is still inside me! Very light though, which is why we chose it, with a big basket and seems very manouverable.

Thanks Floois.
Do you think you could fit a toddler standing under the handle?

I have an Icandy cherry and my friend has given me her buggyboard for DC2. I looked on the Lascals (buggy board) website and they said it was suitable. Sorry can't answer the height question as my friend has lost the connectors so I have to buy a replacement before I can use it. I would presume the website wouldn't say it was suitable if it wasn't for the whole thing, but you never know!

Have you seen the Quinny Casters website www.quinnycasters.com/

You can get a free Zapp Xtra in return for reviewing it. This is a small buggy and should be perfect for public transport. Not sure about fitting a toddler on though?

Excellent, thanks for that. Now just have to get a facebook account...

Buggy looks good, but too expensive if I don't get picked to test drive!

Thanks for that, yes Lascal site does say all ok. I was in John Lewis and they said no way, but they didn't have a board to try with it...
Must go to a shop that has a Cherry and a board and try it out I think...
