brake cable snapped on bugaboo

I've got a 2nd hand frog and yesterday I think I might have broken the brake - or it just snapped of it's own accord. Anyway, I was wondering whether a bike shop might be able to fix it. It looks very similar to a bicycle brake system. What do you think?

possibly, although you will probably need to take the whole thing, including the metal bobbly thing off the end to the shop. Other alternative is to buy a broken chassis of ebay (tres cheap) and then nick the brake cable off it. Unfortunately I very much doubt that bugaboo will have a spare part, but you could get them to service your chassis and they would then replace everything that needed replacing.

when my bugaboo broke I used these guys to fix it. If you're in London they might be worth a call (or maybe there is something similar where you are).

Thank you both Think I will try the local bike shop first - will take pram there. Think the other options will work out quite expensive though will go that route if I have to.

ok well I took my pram to the bike shop and they tried to replace the cable but said it they can't fit a generic one - it has to be from the manufacturer. So next option is to try Haribo's option as I am sure it will be cheaper than servicing the whole chassis with bugaboo.
