...Are you pleased with it?
Would you get it again?
Where did you get it from?
Roughly how much did you pay per sqm? [Nosy]

Its for the hallway in our new house.

I barely know my solid wood from my engineered wood from my laminate so any advice appreciated.

TIA

I don't have bamboo flooring myself, but adore it dearly. My friend got it from online company bambooflooring.com I think and she is very pleased. Price I think was £20+ for sq.meter. Very durable, warm floor that has qualities of wooden floor and care convenience of laminate flooring. My first option when I have money for it.

I have had it for about three years in my living room. I bought it becuase I couldn't afford a rrally expensive real wood floor, but didn't want lmainate. Bamboo was a happy medium.

If I was on the same budget I would buy it again - and friends have admired it. The only points against it are that some of the boards which are hidden(eg those under the door mate) are now a different colur from the rest. It also scratches - but as I said, I would buy it again.

I used to have it and loved it - it was brilliantly water resistant in a room with French windows onto the garden. I didn't find it scratched particularly, and I don't think it changed colour. Got it from Woodline Flooring.

I've just had it installed in our new kitchen extension and everyone makes admiring comments about it. I got the 'natural strand woven' sort from the Bamboo Flooring Company, which didn't scratch when I tried keys and coins on the sample they sent me, and which has proved resiliant in real life. My floor person wanted the 'uni-clic' sort so it cost £20+ rather than about £19 - but worth it. Plus we had enough left over to do our study, which looks great.

Go for it!
