Do you live (or have you lived) in the Frodsham area?

Sorry if this isn't the right place for this thread, not sure where to start it. DH, DD and I are thinking of moving to the Frodsham area (Frodsham/Hapsford/Ince/Elton/Helsby) and I was just hoping for a little local advice and info on where's nice, where's not, local schools, that kind of thing. Drove through today and it all looked lovely Can anyone give me any insider tips?

Hmm rebl I think it depends whereabouts you are. The nearer you are to Main Street in Frodsham I guess you hear more road noise but once you start moving, say up Helsby Hill, you don't hear very much. Anyway good luck Dita I am sure you will like the area.

We had our offer accepted today. Yeep! I am now mildly drunk on champagne as a result

Hi,

I realise that this thread is a couple of years old but was just wanting some advice on this area.
My job has relocated to Cheadle Hulme and potentially my DH could work in Flint. Looking at the AA route planner, Frodsham seems to be about half way between and roughly half an hour drive to each workplace :) . However, never having driven this route (I live down South) is this accurate or would we each spend many more hours per week in the car? If we relocate, we would need to find somewhere to rent first in the next few months, ideally somewhere near a good primary school that has a nursery attached. Would Frodsham be a good choice or not? My work has a restriction of no more than 25 miles or 1 hour from the workplace.
Thanks in advance
