TV on wall

We woIld like to put our new TV on the wall in the playroom but will need a bracket that swivels so that we can pull the tv round when we want to watch it (as the sofa is on a wall at a 90 degrees angle to the wall the TV will be on). What should we use to conceal the wires? We need to be able to leave enough slack so that the TV can be pulled round easily etx. Any ideas? many thanks

you can buy special brackets for this (like they have at pubs! - you can put the flex along the bracket)

most tv places should do them but perhaps call first to save a wasted trip

no idea how to conceal the wires - my tv is on the wall but the wires are in the wall

what about that curly stuff that you can put around the wires? it can hold more than one wire aswell

like this

would that be any use?

DH channelled out the wall to the power point to fit a long plastic tube that the wires would all slide through. Then he plastered it all into place.

I hated that week!

Thanks all. If the TV was going to remain in one position it would be much easier but b/c we will need to swivel it round a little bit it makes it soooo more complicated. We did speak to one TV shop but he was a bit negative baout putting TVs on walls so I think we need to go to another shop for ideas. Thanks again

I was looking into this, it depends how you feel about how they are concealed. You can get chrome tubes designed for this

see this

so it is like wall mounted trunking but nicer. They have a contact us section so maybe contact them.
