Party wall agreement for loft conversion

Anyone had problems getting neighbours to sign party wall agreement?
I gave our neighbours months notice, explained it all to her, gave her the agreement to sign with notes explaining everything. Have offered to have her talk to our builder. She said she wanted to take independent advice and I have explained that we could get party wall surveyor and we have to pay, but i think she thinks I will con her somehow!
I have dropped her a note chasing it, as she seems to be ignoring me when I knock on her door. Seriously, I know she is in!
We wanted to get it started 2 months ago.. builder has been ready to go!
What am I doing wrong?

Our neighbour was a bit like that but she was a bit more pro active and got advice from the CAB. After speaking to them she was happy to sign the documents required.

If the neighbour ignores your original notice then you can appoint a surveyor to protect their interests after (I think) one month from the date of the notice.

she finally got back to me, saying she wanted a surveyor.
No problem with that but I just wish she had said that 2 months ago. Would have been finished by now!!aarrgghh
