Renovate sash windows or get UPVC?

I know which I prefer but am thinking of costs and the cold.
Have had a leaflet offering a special offer from Everest.
And can anyone recommend a sash window restorer in Kent?

Outrageous fanjolina. Actually horrific!

Local company coming to quote for me tomorrow.
Another is getting back to me with a date to come and look.

Our 1890s house had had horrible (& rotten) 1960s softwood transom windows fitted before we bought it. We subsequently replaced those with UPVC (sorry) - we are up north though, & round here UPVC is what most Victorian houses have.

How expensive is it to put sash windows back in from scratch, anybody? (Have 3-windowed bay plus 2 single bedroom windows at the front, plus a variety of different shapes & sizes at the back.)

If you haven't yet had your windows done, I can recommend this sash window company in Kent.

Anyone used these guys for their SASH WINDOWS??

They will be around mine on Friday for a quote, I need 4 Victorian sash windows renovated.

Any feedback would be very much appreciated.

The german window co sash windows are excellent if you can find a local joiner/fitter to measure and fit for you.
