I can't find one anywhere. Keep looking online and all roads seem to lead to Hammerite and the few colours they do! Anyone know where I should be looking?!

I think an oil based paint for outdoors will be okay on wood or metal.

they should have nice colours

Cheers - I had avoided F&B as I am purely changing the colour on a whim and DP will give me the look - you know, this one if I can only come up with F&B paint but I agree it's probably the only way to go

Is it a metal door then?

biffandchip · 28/03/2009 21:08

Well it didn't get the response I expected - instead DP said 'well if that's the colour we want it will have to be F&B' that was until I checked the website - £47, we only paid £50 for the door!!! Back to the drawing board.......

I only ever buy F&B. If colours are important to you why not pay a few extra £££ for the satisfaction

Cos I'm skint

A paint shop will match up F&B shade for you for fraction of price. The one I go to does.
