Laura Ashley 'Twine' paint - anyone used it?

I used this colour in a room a couple of years ago and liked it.

Painted living room in it this weekend and it looks completely different (both rooms on same side of house so similar light etc.) Its much darker and looks 'murky' and seems to have a green tinge. (The original room is like a heritage 'off' cream. Really rich colour which brightens the room.)

Just wondered if anyone else used it?

I did, and it looked very dull in my living/dining room. Depends what you put with it, and how much light the room gets - in the morning it would look brighter, but then dull again. Does the room have a different floor covering? Accessories?

we used twine a few years ago too, maybe they've changed it slightly?

Thats interesting Lady - thast exactly what it looks like - 'dull'. Really disappointed. Spent ages doing it. out of interest what did you change yours too? Ive got farrow and ball 'New white' through most of rest of downstairs. Wanted to keep it neutral but move away from New White for that room. Accessories and furniture are mainly dark which looked quite fab with the previous 'almost' white colour (cant remember exactly which one it was but was qwuite close to a pure white) - but now they all look very drab. only changed it cos was forever cleaning the walls and doing touch ups.

ramonaquimby - i think they must have changed it - does look really different.
