mirrors in bathrooms - advice needed!

We have a small bathroom about to be revamped. Want to make it look as spacious as poss. In a cottage we rented for a hol the tiny bathroom had a huge mirror on 2 opposite walls - full-length - great idea! But we'd have to have a mirror on the wall the bath's on and our overhead shower bound to splash it (and we do need an overhead one rather than hand-held). Any thoughts or other ideas?

Only that you have to be supremely comfortable with your bod to have a huge mirror in your bathroom. Otherwise can't think of any issues.

I wish! We had to wake up every morning facing hideous mirrored wardrobes for 6 yrs up until June, so we're just used to seeing the worst!

can you not ut one of those glass dor things at the edge of the bath to stop water splashing out when you have a shower?

put and door even

It's the mirror on the wall getting splashed every time that I'm thinking of

So is the mirror over the bath itself or next to it? Confused

We have used ikea large mirror tiles that virtually fill one wall, with just a few normal tiles to surround them - dead cheap and look fab!

the bath is next to the wall the mirror would be on - so the mirror would be directly above the bath...

We have this in one of our (small) bathrooms. The mirror did cover the whole wall above the bath. We are currently having bathroom redone and the mirror will be in the same place, but the plumber (different from last time) said we cannot go wall to wall as the risk of water getting behind is high. So there is one column of tiles on each side.

As to the water splashing, it does. You just need a squidgy thing and each time you have a shower, squidgy the mirror after. It takes about 10 seconds and stops you needing to clean it.

And, yes, it does make the bathrrom look much bigger.

Squidgy blade and looks great.

Thanks! That's a big help.
