Help!! Floor plan improvements

We have obtained planning permission to build our family home. Ive attached my current floor plan. The utility/pantry/kitchen area have been improved since this plan. The front of the house has been designed to make the most of lovely views.

I'm struggling with the design of the bedroom block - upstairs and downstairs and I'm beating my head off the wall trying to see ways to improve it.
Id really like a small home office preferably on the ground floor. I'd be happy to move the hot-press upstairs and to reduce the bathroom upstairs to a shower room. I also don't mind reducing room sizes if necessary.

The second thing that I'm not happy with is the layout of the upstairs front bedroom. Originally it had an en-suite and a a dressing room but then we changed the stair layout and as I wasn’t sure if I wanted an en-suite it was removed. Now I find the layout of that room really weird. I cant see how to lay that room out to include a walk in wardrobe and ensuite.

Id really appreciate any suggestions or ideas for improvement.

i would want an en-suite.

You have a huge utility room, another shower in the loo off the utility and a pantry. Could you, take out the shower, reduce the size of the utility and have an office put in?
I would make the bathroom upstairs smaller and reinstate the en-suite and have both bedrooms with their own en-suite rather than a separate bathroom.

You already have a downstairs bathroom for the two bedrooms, What's the reason for another shower room on the ground floor?
I would rejig the shower room, pantry and utility area and fit the office in there. I'd also make the island double depth so you can have half depth cabinets underneath where the stools are, will give you a ton of storage for infrequently used items.
Upstairs, that false wall in the master, feels like it's not making great use of the space and could be why you are struggling to envisage an ensuite and walk in robe.

Make the first floor bathroom into 2 en-suites ?
Have a wall of wardrobes and dressing area behind where the bed is planned
downstairs ( you say the plan is changed already )
The utility is far too big. Make that into the office , have the washer and tumbler in the Downstairs loo and have storage in there too

Ok, lots of unused hallway.

Office option 1- rejig the utility. use the hall to the back door as a combined boot room/utility/pantry (u). use the remainig space as an office (o).

Office option 2 - Alternatvely, rejig the laundry room and the bedroom nextdoor to cut out an office space, this means changing the windows.

Upstairs ensuite. move the wall to the second bedroom down slightly to reduce the size of the bathroom and change door location to inside the master bedroom. add smaler ensuit to second bedroom using that additional space and second window. move wall with bedroom door down to increase usable space in second bed and reduce size of redundent hallway. you may want to move the velux.

TBH i dont like the whole master bed layout, it isnt good juju to have a floating bed and to have your head towards the doorway. I would actually swap the two up stairs bedrooms over so that the master suite has more space and is at the quieter back side of the house overlooking the garden???
