Porcelain tiles with underfloor heating in open plan ground floor?

Hello Mumsnetters,

Has anyone got tiles in their ground floor area and if yes please what has your experience been so far? I am thinking of having porcelain tiles throughout our open plan kitchen-diner-snug space with underfloor heating as I understand they can be quote cold. Also, if you have a similar set up do you radiators as well?
These are the tiles I am considering :

We have a similar set up and I love it. We opted for wood effect tiles and have a rug in the sitting area. I think with your tiles it can look a bit cold and sterile. But that depends entirely on the space, decor and personal preference.

Our tiles are very similar to these:

Made from porcelain, this Ascot Oak Wood Effect Tile is highly resistant to water or stains, so can be safely used on your floor in any room.

We've got porcelain tiles with under-floor heating in our kitchen/diner which has proved to be very satisfactory. The porcelain itself is cold if you turn off the under-floor heating system, however, once you turn it on it becomes pleasantly warm, the heat distributes rather evenly.

We do have radiators because we already had them, but we don't need them much since the under-floor heating system is working in there. It was my first experience with porcelain tiles and I would recommend them, particularly in open-plan rooms."
