Blinds for large sliding patio doors

I've recently moved into a house with a set of large patio doors, just over 4m long in the living room. The previous owner had vertical blinds but these are broken and old fashioned so I want to change them.

What type of blinds would you go for on sliding doors? I don't particularly like vertical blinds, they remind me of offices but not sure what I can go for that won't affect the door mechanism. I would ideally like perfect fit blinds but I'm assuming that wouldn't work on sliding patio doors. Would multiple roller blinds work or look awful? Google suggested panel blinds which slide on a track but I've never seen those in real life.

The room is south facing with a conservatory the other side of the sliding doors so it is unbearably hot today and I would ideally like thermal blinds to help keep the living room a bit cooler.

Bonus points for photos of the sort of thing that would work!

Easy fit blinds work on my sliding doors. You’re best to just ask the supplier

Thanks, that's really good to know they can work. I had just assumed they would stick out a bit and stop one door sliding behind the other.

IKEA do them. I have them on my patio doors because the sun shines in during the winter months when the sun is low in the sky. If they don't do blackout ones you could buy the mechanism and get your own fabric - it's just rectangles.

Thanks, I'll have a look at ikea's ones
