Is it worth wrapping kitchen worktops yourself or hiring a professional?

Exactly that. We have about 10m of worktops to sort out - is it ever worth wrapping it yourself? Or how much did you pay a professional to do it for you?

Looking to go from a black to a oaky wood effect.

Doing it yourself is straightforward if you feel confident too. If not get someone to do it

Me and Dp have really struggled with that stuff we've chucked away so many rolls of it. We have one worktop done and the other just keeps messing up so we need to try again so they match.

A good tip is blast with the hair dryer before stretching around edges

We had our kitchen units professionally wrapped last year. We asked the guy about doing the worktops, and he said that he didn’t do worktops, as even the heaviest duty vinyl was not robust enough for them.

I would watch a few YouTube videos first! Not done it though. Probably depends a bit on how handy you are (can you hang wallpaper?).
