How to know what to include on fixtures and fittings?

So we’ve received a fixtures and fittings list - there’s only 3 of us in the chain. Do we wait to receive the list from our sellers so we know what we can put down as leaving on our list?

it’s only really the washing machine as I guess if they leave theirs we could leave ours (as long as working)!
Never brought and sold so this is all new!

Remember just because your sellers put something on the fixture and fittings list it doesn't mean you have to accept it

We had an old fridge freezer and it wasn't worth moving. We put it on our fixtures and fittings list incase they new owners wanted it. They didn't so we disposed of it and sent a revised fixtures and fittings list without it

Similarly when we bought our first house it had a dishwasher we didn't want on the fixture and fittings list and we declined it. When we bought our current house and did our final viewing the week of completion the house had been vacated but the washing machine and fridge were still on the property. We informed the agent that they weren't on the fixture and fittings list and we had no use for them, please could they be removed before we collected the keys and they were

Mum moving out of her house into a flat. We've just done the fixtures and fittings form. We've offered the buyers the ancient washing machine for free, but it's unlikely they'll want it. The fixtures and fittings list is to say exactly what is included in the sale, and to provide a conversation for everything else. When we moved last year we sold our freestanding American-style fridge and microwave to the people who bought from us. It was agreed quite close to sale time. Don't overthink the form -- just fill it in with everything you are sure you are leaving behind and the rest will be agreed in conversation.
