How can I remove a concreted-in rotary washing line completely?

I have an old rusty, partly broken rotary washing line outside. It doesn't fold and it is the main view when I look out my window. My garden is small and needless to say I hate it being the centrepiece. I want to get it taken out completely but apparently it is concreted in. My neighbours had the same problem, they just chopped the pole down then replaced it with a newer rotary washing line but I don't want one at all.

The easiest option is to take an angle grinder to it and cut it flush with its surroundings. If that’s not workable (unlikely), you will need to dig it all out.

We dug ours out. It was a hell of a lot of work. The concrete is so heavy that it's now sat in our garden bed with weeds growing among it for 11 years now! Knowing this, I would explore the option to get it cut off with an angle grinder below ground level. Until I saw the above posts I had never even considered this as an option.
Just make sure the concrete is deep enough that the cutoff bit is not dangerous or find a way to cap it.

Or a very strong man with a sledge hammer to break out the concrete!

Is it surrounded by grass/soil or concrete?

If grass/soil then you can just dig around the concrete, and push the washing line backwards and forwards to lever it out. Pretty easy to do.
