Using Dulux Trade Supermatt in kitchen after replaster, should I change?

Have started painting the kitchen after having the ceiling replastered. I don't like the sheen of kitchen paint and someone suggested to me that Dulux trade supermatt is a good Matt white.

I have done the mist coat with this but am now worried that this is the wrong paint for a kitchen.

The previous people did the walls in no e flat white Matt that is seems to be wipeable with baby wipes, not sure what type of paint.

I'm also worried that the white will look a bit grey due to lack of light in the room. The current white isn't yellowy but it also doesn't have a grey tinge.

Should I get a different paint before doing the topcoats?

I have Dulux kitchen paint in my kitchen diner (coastal grey) and would say it is a Matt finish . No sheen to it at all.

I don't think Dulux Supermatt is a wipeable finish, it's certainly not scrubbable so it might be difficult to keep clean

Tiling covers all the splash areas, I was more worried that it won't hold up to steam etc. we don't really get condensation as have cooker hood and open windows

It's a porous/breathable finish so I don't think it would be great for steamy areas. I used a matt white paint from Zinsser in my bathroom which was specifically for areas like kitchens and bathrooms, it can be wiped and it is a nice matt finish (can also be colour mixed at a decorator centre)

I just used Dulux Easycare kitchen Timeless on kitchen ceiling. Apparently it's greaseproof and washable. It's also matte so might be worth a look? Timeless is white with a hint of beige
