Raynes Park/New Malden/Worcester Park - where to move?

Hi, we are looking to move to one of the above areas (forgot Motspur Park which could be a possibility) and I'd love to hear some positives/negatives from local residents. We absolutely have to be less than 15min walk to a train station, preferably less, as we both commute to London. Thank you!

Hi there, if you both commute into London you will not want to live in any of the places you mention because those stations do not have a fast train. Surbiton has a fast train that goes straight to Waterloo in 15 mins I really recommend you check out the area. It’s very leafy and family friendly with excellent schools. Close to the river and many large parks. On the doorstep of Kingston for shopping, restaurants and renowned Rose Theatre. Also very good access to Heathrow and Gatwick and in 1 hours drive you can be at the coast, Brighton or Portsmouth. You will be able to find a nice house with a big garden and probably a garage on your budget.

I agree with the above. It would be Surbiton for me for all the reasons mentioned.

I don't know Surbiton, but the advantage of Wimbledon is that you have access to mainline trains (only 15 mins to Waterloo) as well as the underground - District Line at Wimbledon and Northern Line at South Wimbledon.

Surbiton is lovely but more £££ than some of the other places
