Bathroom

I’m having a new bathroom. It will be white, of course, but what tiles do I want? Ideas please. Also, I’m looking at tiling the whole bathroom, as it does away with painting the walls. Is that a good look? Do I tile the floor in the same tiles?

My head is spinning with possible options. I like a plain simple look, nothing fancy. Thank you.

I suggest vinyl sheet flooring as it’s warmer underfoot and so many lovely designs.

personally I prefer painted walls to tiles as feels warmer? With tiles in shower, round bath and above basin.

We’ve never had a floor tile break. Useless installation if they do. You need a floor that doesn’t move.

Bits a tiled areas look very dated now. I had that in the 70s. Times have moved on.

I’m really wanting a fully tiled bathroom. I like the sleek, modern look.

@Catchycatchytune Me too! Have a look at Porcelanosa tiles and definitely choose large format. They have floor tiles that coordinate too. The sales are a good place to hunt for better prices.

We had "comfort height" toilet. I am 5ft 4in and my feet only just touch the floor, I can swing my legs around as well when sitting! If I get any shorter I will have to get a step! DH is fine, he is 6ft so can't swing his legs.
