The brownish red would be for a cabinet and the neutral is for the walls.
Colours are LG ashes of roses and Portland stone.
I need a terracotta sort of colour as our terrazzo floor has specks of it in, that or ochre

You can’t eggshell over eggshell can you ?! Otherwise I’d go for it. Portland stone pale is a lovely neutral, I have a small tin actually so I think I will go with that for the ceilings. Thank you to who suggested it.
im looking on screen at the colours so thank you who pointed that out and I will look at the other colour suggested.
This hallway has really stressed me out and I think it’s because of the different specks in the floor. We’ve moved in recently so the whole house needs doing, it’s Edwardian and I just really want to do it justice and show it off

Sure, sorry it is dark. The rug is deep red although it looks black in the photos.

Oh isn’t that a Cosy room ! I love the coving and ceiling rose, very me ! It looks great 😊

Little Greene paint is nice but my fave paint is Coat, I've gradually repainted most of my rooms with their colours. My living room has accent walls in 'Old Street' which is a dusky dark red with brown tinge like the LG colour you're after.

Not sure what you mean about eggshell over eggshell? Don't you just sand it a bit and go over it? I've pained matt paint on very small areas of wood too as long as they aren't high traffic areas.

I didn't want to redo my woodwork either.

I wanted a chalk paint effect and got it by sanding off the glossy top layer. It left a nice matt finish. The woodwork has obviously been done in the past and some of the other layers peep through.

It's not for everyone but I like it. Quick, easy and free if you've already got sandpaper.

For context my flat is like an igloo. Everything else is white 😂
