Bay window and surround cost

I’d really like to redecorate my living room after being here a few years now. But ideally I’d like to replace my living window, the surrounding woodwork and white panelling at some stage, and as boring as it is, it makes sense to do that first.

Can anyone give an idea of roughly how much I could expect to pay?

I’ve attached a photo and I’m in Scotland if it makes any difference.

Thanks.

I’m in England but had a bay and two upstairs windows replaced for £4k 2 years ago. I had acoustic glass though so more expensive.

Thanks, that’s better than I expected! Was that just the actual windows though? No replacement of woodwork, etc?

I used to have two half bays here and had them replaced with a large flat window (in the bedroom) and ripped out and replaced with large french doors and windows in the lounge. Both were the width of large rooms so similar to yours.

I was told that to replace the half bay in the bedroom with uPVC would be very expensive because I'd need lead on top (I'm in a bungalow). But if you have double bays you wouldn't need that.

The work I had done worked out to £1k for the large window and £2.5k for the French doors.

What I would say is to get lots of quotes as I've found they vary hugely.
