Bloody hell !!!!!!

KievLoverTwo · 24/11/2025 19:25

Is that a converted bin store?

MouldyCandy · 24/11/2025 19:30

How much????
.... and how much might that be worth after refurb - (assuming you keep the bidet of course)?

Spiderham · 24/11/2025 19:30

Oh, that's so sad on many levels 😢

wantom · 24/11/2025 19:36

Nearly a million for that. I suppose it's the location, but would a property in that area/mews with no garden to speak of achieve much more after refurb? Someone will know!

Hoarding is not a nice thing to clean up, but I suppose for professional builders it's all in a day's work and would be cleared in a day or so ready for action.

My mouth is agape

A million in the state! And you’d have to demolish it surely, clear the land and build a whole new dwelling.

Heronwatcher · 24/11/2025 20:27

I reckon it would go for between 1.2 and 1.4 million when renovated. Not dissimilar to the below. Mews houses go for a premium and this one looks better than most as it has a good plot and parking potentially for the Maserati. I don’t think anyone would demolish it but they probably would do a double height extension if they could get planning.

As others have said it’s really the area, not only is it really central, it’s close to loads of leafy areas and actually surprisingly good schools.

The refurb costs together with clearance and adding an extension (maybe) would cost more than 300k so the resale price (if developed for that) would have to exceed 1.2mill by a country mile surely!

Anyway, if it's for living in, in a good location then it doesn't matter about resale price much.

Heronwatcher · 24/11/2025 20:42

Looking at sold houses on that street, one which was slightly bigger (but actually not much if a double height extension is possible at the back) was on for £1.8 million recently, so actually £1.2- £1.4 might be a bit cautious!

Camden Mews has some really interesting houses, and it’s a sweet little road that feels tucked away and different to other streets in the area. It’s a pretty desirable area.
