What colour bathroom vanity should I buy?

Finally starting to rip out my bathroom next week. After endless discussion with DP we have bought everything other than the vanity unit.

The rest of the furniture is fairly contemporary without being square or futuristic looking, if that makes sense (basic duravit loo and bath, Grohne taps and Crosswater shower in chrome). Medium-toned wood porcelain tiles on the floor and then one wall in these textured tiles and the rest these.

For the vanity, I am inlined to buy this in white as it fits the space/felt solid in the shop/has 2 drawers and I can't be bothered to discuss the matter further with DP. We are planning to sell in the next 5 years or less, so are erring on the side of boring/timeless.

I'd like more colour/interest but thinking once a plant and a nice piece of art is added, it'll still look nice? Or maybe I should go for the green or blue...?

Grateful for thoughts.

White with colour in your accessories. Anything else restricts choice of accessory colour.
If you were planning on staying it may be different (I like the darker colours)

I have a Roper Rhodes vanity and it’s lasted well. If you have a Duravit basin, why not a Duravit vanity. We’ve one of those and also excellent.

I'm having my bathroom replaced at the moment. Everything is white. I've bought a very similar unit but it's 1m and square corners.

Thanks all - have gone with the white. Builders currently smashing old bathroom to bits, and have realised too late how far the dust will carry!

I'd probably go with the white vanity. If you're thinking of selling in the next few years, it's a safe choice that won't date the bathroom. With the wood-look porcelain tiles already adding warmth, I'd use a plant, artwork, or even coloured towels to bring in a bit of personality instead.

If it were my bathroom, I'd be tempted by the green or blue vanity. Since everything else is quite neutral, a bit of colour could make the room feel more interesting without going over the top. Paired with the wood-effect porcelain tiles and chrome fittings, I think it would still look stylish and age well.
