Show me your bathroom

I'm starting to get ideas for a bathroom reno. It's a small room, enough for a toilet, sink, shower over bath. I'm just feeling pretty clueless about colours and style so would love to see some bathrooms to give me inspiration :)

Thanks

Get bigger tiles, so less grout and consider shower panels around the bath so you dont get nasty grout around that area at all. Heated wall mounted towel rail rather than a radiator, you can get various colours and styles, ones that are electric only or run off your heating or dual fuel. Gloss furniture shows finger marks, water marks etc so consider more of a matt finish.

I use mould magic routinely so nasty grout isn’t a thing but just make sure you plot well and make sure drainage is well installed unlike neighbours that have had to rip out new bathroom and start again.

Mine is similar with a large and inconvenient window, and north-east facing so very different light morning and afternoon.

It’s fully tiled around the bath, half tiled (higher than the window cill, so that’s tiled too) everywhere else. Large white tiles, white bathroom suite, and deep under sink drawers, blue walls and ceiling, blue-grey floor. The changing light through the day really affects how blue it looks, and I love it.

We have a central light and two wall lights opposite the bath, and all are connected to an extractor fan. We have a large mirror (about 2.5 feet high and 6 feet wide) under the wall lights. Under that is a heated towel rail - ours is connected to the central heating which can be a pain when we only want to heat the bathroom.

The loo and sink unit are wall mounted, which theoretically makes the space look bigger. I don’t know that it does, but they are easy to sweep and mop under.

This is one of the reasons the bathroom needs doing more urgently as there's a leak coming from... somewhere into the gennel below. Moved in a couple of months ago and it was highlighted on the survey as one to fix quickly.

layout and decor ideas and these

If you've no idea where to start or what you like, I think a good idea is to Google bathroom tiles, and look at all the examples of bathrooms in the photos.
Start from there to see which colours/styles you like then work out which you can afford.

I'd say get a neutral wall tile and add colours with towels and plants and any painted walls, as these can be changed easily when you want.

Don't get a toilet fitted into a cabinet without making sure the plumbing can be accessed easily if you need to .
