Has anyone got a lean to gazebo?

Like this?
I’m thinking of getting one outside the French doors at the back of the house, mainly to dry my washing under!
it’s quite windy where I live - are they sturdy?
I would get someone in to install it and attach to the back wall.

We have a glass roofed veranda which is vaguely similar to the one in your link but much larger and more robust (roof is 14mm laminated glass for instance, built in gutter & downpipes, concrete foundations etc), also much more expensive.

We have put a clothes airer underneath it but TBH, it is either drying weather or not so it is just used for it's original intention....... to give a covered patio area.
Beware that rain does not always fall straight down (moreso if you are in a windy area) so will come in at the open sides.

Yes good point @Nourishinghandcream- I will get one around 12’ wide so hopefully the dryer will be okay in the middle?

How deep and which direction does the wind usually come in from?
On still, heavy, misty days you can get a lot of moisture underneath, nothing like being outside but still significant.

Umm, about 8’ deep
the wind comes from the front- not too bad as it would be on our patio which is lower than the lawn. But I’d worry about it coming away from the wall.
