Private rental - what do we need to do?

My daughter and her partner have just been accepted on a private rental.

What do we need to remember?

I’ve got things like utility swap, supermarket for food shop etc. she will need to buy all the essentials.

Little update - they are all moved in. So proud of them, they have done it independently except for asking a bit of advice. They are both only 19.

The property is lovely and I’d happily live there myself. They have sourced the extra furniture they needed and collected it and it looks like a home in the space of a week. All utilities are sorted and they took photos and meter readings etc.

Went over to visit on my day off (they are a 40min drive) and it was both weird and lovely to visit my child in a home of their own!
