Induction Range Cooker

Planning a new kitchen and I'm looking for a range cooker. I'd like to go all electric so I've narrowed it down to a few induction models.

Rangemaster Elise
Bertazzoni Pro 90 Induction
Aga Masterchef Deluxe 90
Lacanche Bussy 90 Induction

Most of the reviews for these brands are for gas hobs. Wondered if anyone has one of the above and can share their experience?

I'm leaning towards the Aga, but it's really hard to know what the quality is like. Same for the others really as it's hard to view them all in person!

We have a Rangemaster Professional with induction hob. I don’t ever cook but my husband does (he fancies himself as a chef) and he absolutely loves it.

You have reignited my desire for a new range!
whilst I absolutely love the Lacanche & Bertazzoni, they’re too much money for me - and they aren’t made in the UK, which is always a key part of my decision making.
I shall be looking into it more in the coming days Smile Thank you.

Meanwhile I think you should go for the Aga, if you want to Buy British. If not?, the Lacanche. Enjoy eating whatever results from your new kitchen!

Have you considered an Everhot? They are all electric and designed and made in the UK. They make lots of different models and sizes- mine is 100 cm with 2 ovens, a split temp hotplate and 2 induction rings. I totally love it!

I have a Falcon induction, had it 12 years. Superb.

Aga are awful. Recently got rid of one and replaced with everhot which has an oven that actually works.

Hated our Bertazzoni Professional range cooker. Sold it with our last house. Have just bought a (reconditioned) Lacanche.

Was that an all electric induction one or dual fuel?

All electric but not induction. Acted like an old fashioned aga but expensive and slow and inefficient for modern cooking.

agas were a great technology when houses didn’t have central heating and you actually needed to warm the kitchen. In a modern well insulation house, they are just silly (and a bit pretentious).

I have the Aga Masterchef but an older model that we got second hand, it was immaculate and pretty much unused as they changed their minds.

Use the induction hob all the time and it is good. We’ve been here for 2 years now and have only used the ovens 4 times as use our Sage smart oven most of the time but it has cooked well when used it . It definitely cooks better than my old Belling range and I must make an effort to use it more. We just got very used to the Sage oven when we were without one and it is cheaper to run.

We moved our kitchen so all the electrics are new but if we hadn’t we would have had to have had the cooker ring upgraded as wouldn’t have been capable of taking it.

Would I buy one again? No but only as I paid £900 and a new one would be out of my budget. Actually I think the cooker has just explained the massively inflated quote I have had for some building work in the kitchen thinking about it !

We've the same and have been very pleased with it.
