Rochester/strood

Heyy guys! Anyone familiar with chattenden? We are a family of 4 (4year old and a newborn) looking to move into rochester/trood. We saw a house in chattenden and loved it but we don't know much about the area. Any info would help! Thanks x

I second this totally. Plus, from wainscott , getting to and from the good schools in and around Stroud is a lot easier or even Gravesend, for the grammar schools.

@Vw01 Rochester is a lovely area, I grew up there and now live in London but we are looking to come back.

I went to Fort Pitt many moons ago, it was a great school, there’s a park not too far from there and I love Rochester high street, especially during summer and Xmas time.

My brother attended the Maths School which was also a good school.

It will always be home for me and I can’t wait to come back xx

@Rosesanddaffsaww glad to hear that. We have purchased the house in chattenden so will be local to strood and Rochester :) definitely is better than gravesend which is where we currently live :) x

Yes not keen on Gravesend either, lived there for 2 years and hated it! X

@Rosesanddaffsliterallt the reason why we wanted to move! Apart from Bluewater being at your doorstop everything else is just meh lol x
