Thoughts on Maidstone please!

Hey! Me and my family are considering Maidstone as a potential area to move into. What are everyone's thoughts? We had some viewings around the boughton monchelsea area and the neighbourhood where we viewed the houses seem really nice however when we did drive a bit out did come across some run down looking areas.. anyone familiar with the area??

Bearsted, considered one of the nicer parts of Maidstone.

Loose area is nice, but main road into Maidstone can get clogged up.

Nb. These are examples of what you could buy. I don’t know the individual houses as such, but the areas they’re in are generally okay, and are the areas and villages outside of the main town centre.

@Silverbirchleaf that's for all this.. we managed to put an offer down on a house in the rochester area :) fingers crossed 🤞🏽

Have you looked at the West Malling and Kings Hill areas. Both close to West Malling station that has connections to Victoria and Charing Cross, you can be in London in under an hour.

@GenerousGardener yeah we have actually. Saw a few but not any that we really liked. Found one in the rochester/strood area and managed to put an offer down :)
