Kitchen wall lights - what would you recommend?

I've got open shelves in the kitchen. Had a spotlight fitted at the time the kitchen was installed but it's in a totally impractical place to clean it/change the bulb. So I want it removed and something else installed. I need it to be able to extend over the shelves. Has anyone got anything like this they'd recommend?

Is this to light the worktop under the shelves and do you want somwrhing which will come out of the wall or which attaches to the shelves?

To light the worktop below the shelves. I've seen those anglepoise type lights but not sure I want anything very stuck out. And some have an individual switch so I don't know if that means they can't be wired in.

You can buy led strip lights in either white or multicoloured which could either be recessed into the shelves or stuck onto the bottom. They can be put into a diffuser tube to diffuse the light more evenly. They can be wired into mains with a transformer or just plugged into a socket.
Or maybe picture lights? Which could be stuck on the edge of the shelf and angled downwards?

Anyhrinf with a switch can be wired in and have the switch bypassed.

Oh, that's good to know. I'm thinking about this type of thing.
