Warm white paint for hallway

Got a Farrow and Ball tester today from B&Q (satin slipper) and it’s a bit too yellow. Never bought F&B but B&Q mix a copy up which is good. Can anyone recommend a nice warm white for our call, it’s currently grey and I’ve gone off it, and kids have made it grubby. Thanks!

Rock salt from Dulux

I've always used Dulux Timeless when wanting a warm white, it's exactly that, lovely shade.

I like Little Greene Paint Company Old Paper II. It's kind of very light apricot or very warm white.

Dimity by F&B however we had it colour matched and mixed at Johnstones and are so happy with it!

It depends on which way your hall faces and the light levels in there. Do you know which direction you get light from?

It depends on the light, so get test pots. Dulux Timeless was horribly cold and harsh-looking in our kitchen. We painted over it the same day! We have a perfect warm white in our hall but it's....I was going to say 'bespoke' but what actually happened was that I explained what I wanted to our decorator and he mixed together a tin of pure brilliant white and a big tin of magnolia that he had left over from his previous job that he said we could have for free. That's no help to you, though, sorry!

Dimity, either the real F&B stuff or colour matched in Valspar at B&Q.

What would pp recommend for a hall that has no natural light bar a small window in the front door?

Another vote for Deluxe Timeless. I'm a big fan of F&B but not of their whites work in my place (yes, I've tested all of them). Timeless is a very neutral white with a very gentle warm undertone. You can also try Cotton White from Dulux, which is very similar to Timeless, but has a more cold undertone.

Have a look at coat paint, all designed from British light and the website splits the paint by the direction the room is
We've used their paint in all but 2 rooms and that's only because we haven't decorated since finding coat
edit we've used screenshot on our ceilings which is one of their whites

My hallway is exactly like that. Victorian Maisonette. I currently have Dulux Cotton White. It's very neutral but a bit cold undertone. I will be switching to timeless. No much difference during the day, but doesn't turn so blue-ish green in the dark.

We have timeless in our kitchen but it’s different according to the light - so it’s antique white in the kitchen but pale grey in the conservatory. Our builder actually called it ‘pale green’! So it’s not a one size fits all. We have F&B Wimbourne White in our lounge and I love it but it is quite creamy.

I agree with both PP that Cotton White is more of a cool white. We are having our hallway painted Timeless very soon.

Jasmine white by Dulux is a warmer white, slightly warmer than Timeless.

Thanks. I’m thinking doing walls, ceiling, skirting boards and bannisters in same colour as I hate bright white woodwork. Would that look weird?

No, it’s a good idea!

We have timeless in 2 bedrooms and although it’s ok in one , I really dislike it in the other . Both face the same way so I’m not sure why. Its just got too much of a grubby yellow tinge.
we’re about to redo the 2nd room in Dulux White Cotton with one wall Egyptian cotton.

I have English Silk from Leyland which lightens up our quite dark house without being too lairy.

Jasmine white is lovely.

I’ve used Wimborne White (F&B) in a lot of rooms. Currently have it in a North facing room as well as a South facing room. Works well in both. Extremely versatile with a touch of fresh warmth. Looks like plain white on the colour card, but once on the walls you can see the warmth. My go-to white.
